About the Library

Serving the community for more than 100 years, the library currently operates from an 85,000 square foot facility at 225 N. Oneida St. which also houses the Outagamie Waupaca Library System. Established under state law by the City of Appleton, the library is governed by a nine-member citizen Board of Trustees

1,500 people per day come to the library to use the 300,000 items in the collections, get help with questions, attend programs and meetings or use the Internet. Hundreds of others call or email every day and the library website is used 75,000 times each month.
