Did You Know? Downtown Book Club @ Harmony Cafe
Did you know that the Downtown Book Club has been meeting at Harmony Café first Wednesdays of each month since July of 2007? The first discussion book was Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult. The group is still going strong six years later. There is a nice mix of Free-for-alls (choose your own title) and assigned titles. Howard Porter moderates this group. He was named Appleton Public Library’s Volunteer of the Year in April 2013. Do you want to join this book club? New members are always welcome. Participants may order lunch or a beverage off the Harmony Café menu. Here is the schedule for the next four months:

February 5 | Free-for-all - Theme: Books about a presidential wives (fiction or nonfiction)
