Wisconsin Newspapers Digital Research Site is a service of the Wisconsin Newspaper Association. It provides access to the daily and weekly newspapers in Wisconsin, starting in 2005 to the present, with an embargo delay of 60 days. The BadgerLink team has worked with the Wisconsin Newspaper Association (WNA) to improve Wisconsin newspapers in BadgerLink. Through this new partnership, WNA’s Wisconsin Newspapers Digital Research Site will provide access to its 235 daily and weekly member-newspapers. Each addition is covered cover to cover in a PDF, searchable format. This service is available onsite in libraries of all types (except for corporate libraries) and through entry of a library card number. It is not available statewide through IP address authentication as are other BadgerLink resources.
By their request, this database does not include Gannett newspaper publications, which includes The Post-Crescent in Appleton, The Reporter in Fond du Lac, Green Bay Press-Gazette, Herald Times Reporter in Manitowoc, Marshfield News-Herald, Oshkosh Northwestern, Sheboygan Press, Stevens Point Journal, Wausau Daily Herald, and The Daily Tribune in Wisconsin Rapids.
Citations to articles on local events from the The Post-Crescent newspaper, with some entries dating to the 1850s. The Library owns microfilm for most Appleton newspapers going back to 1853.

Newspaper Source Plus includes 1,520 full-text newspapers, providing more than 28 million full-text articles. In addition, the database features more than 601,300 television and radio news transcripts, videos & podcasts.
