The Children's Summer Reading Program runs from June 5 through August 5. Open to children ages birth to eleven, Ticket to Tomorrow is an opportunity for young participants to keep track of the minutes they are read to by parents and other caregivers and school age children to play library games to earn incentives for reading. Youth can register for the online reading program at www.apl.org, read their books, and send in book reports to Captain Appleton.

Ticket to Tomorrow kicks off June 5 with two performances by songster Tom Pease at 1:30pm and 2:30pm. Please visit the Summer Library Program web site for more details or call Children's Services at 832-6187 for details.
