Appleton Public Library Offers Free
Chapter-a-Day

The Appleton Public Library is offering free subscriptions to six Chapter-a-Day online book clubs. Each day, Monday through Friday, subscribers will receive excerpts of the first few chapters of a book by email. A new book is started at the beginning of each week.

To join one or more of the six online book clubs, visit the library's internet site at www.apl.org, click on Chapter-a-Day under the Internet Resources heading, and follow the instructions there. Most of the titles featured in the book clubs are available for checkout or reserve at the library.

The Original Book Club features both fiction and nonfiction; the Good News Book Club features religious books. The Fiction Book Club has featured titles prior to their release by publishers. Other options are the AudioBook Club, the Business Book Club, and the Teen Book Club.

Questions about this service may be sent by email to the library at refquest@apl.org or call 832-6173. The Chapter-a-Day service is funded by the Appleton Library Foundation; it is offered in cooperation with WWW.CHAPTER-A-DAY.COM. Book selections are provided with the permission of the authors and publishers.
