Teen Read Week
Teen Read Week is an annual event that encourages
teens to read for pleasure. This year it occurs the week of October
14-20. The theme is "Make Reading a Hobbit," which takes
advantage of the popularity of fantasy literature such as Tolkien's
The Lord of the Rings trilogy and Harry Potter. Appleton Public
Library is planning several events in honor of Teen Read Week
this year.
-
Riddle Contest: Answer riddles from The Hobbit
to be eligible for a drawing to win cool prizes.
-

the program with parental permission will be allowed to design
