Email
Appleton Public Library patrons may now receive
their reserve and overdue notices by email.
Reserve notices are sent when an item that a patron
reserved is available for checkout; overdue notices are sent when
an item is past due. Emailing these notices will get them to patrons
faster and save the library postage charges.
To receive email notices, Appleton Public Library
patrons may visit the library's website at
http://www.apl.org/libcats/emailnotice.asp and complete a
simple form. Patrons may also ask for a form at the library's
circulation desk. Email notices are a service of OWLSNet, a 52-member
consortium of libraries in northeastern Wisconsin managed by the
Outagamie Waupaca Library System (OWLS).
