Teens will once again have a chance to win great prizes simply for reading books. Coming in February will be the second annual Teen Winter Library Program. Teens submit book reviews to be eligible for drawings to win prizes. Once again there will be a prize offered to the Communication Arts class with the highest number of participants. The winning class will be given a breakfast bagel party or a pizza party.

The Teen Winter Library Program was created due to the incredible success of the Teen Summer Library Program. The winter program lasts only one month and participants find out who wins the grand prizes at the final party on Friday, February 28 at 4:00 pm. This year's prizes include video rocker lounge chairs, movie passes, portable CD players, fiber optic lights, and gift certificates to the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center! The prizes were selected by Appleton Public Library's Teen Advisory Board. The program is funded by a grant from the Appleton Library Foundation.
