New Storytime Set for Appleton Public Library:
The Infant Storytime

Babies who are not yet walking are invited to participate in a new storytime program at the library prepared and presented just for them, along with a parent or caregiver. This program features rhymes, songs, and books chosen to enrich baby’s language skills. Babies learn to listen to words and rhymes, react to pictures and movements, and share a special time with mom or dad. All babies will react differently to storytime, but whether they participate fully in the program or just choose to quietly (or loudly!) observe their new setting, they are all welcome. Our goal is for babies to feel comfortable in the children’s area and recognize that this is their library. Join us on Monday mornings at 9:15, beginning September 13, for about 15 minutes of rhymes and books, followed by playtime. Siblings are welcome to attend and participate.

Registration is required for Infant Storytime and begins on Tuesday, September 7.
