Teen Programs, National Library Week 2004
This year's National Library Week teen programs promise to be
a blast! Monday, April 19 will be Prom Prep Night where
teens can come and learn simple make-up and hair tips for prom
night - or any other special occasion. Michelle, from Indivo Salon
will demonstrate how to do some of the coolest up-dos and provide
tips on applying make-up for more formal events. Get ideas about
what will look the best with your dress. You don't have to be
going to the dance to attend.
Chimera Hobby Shop will be in on Thursday April 22 to demonstrate
the hottest fantasy card game, Magic: the Gathering. Come
to learn the basics and hear about some of the up-and-coming new
games that are sure to be hits.
Both programs run from 6-7:30 and pizza will be provided. Teens
in grades 7-12 are invited to attend.
The seventh edition of APL's Teen Voices will premiere during
National Library Week so be sure to check out the teen Web page
at teen.apl.org.
