The Library staff would like
to thank everyone in the community who supported restoring our
hours to the 2003 level. For
many years people had asked for more hours; we recognize that
fewer hours created hardships for people who wanted to use the
Appleton Public Library.
We especially wish to thank
the Library Board of Trustees and the Friends of the Appleton
Library, for their support and efforts to restore hours.
We also thank our elected officials, the Mayor and Alderpersons
of the Common Council for helping us with their support and votes. But our biggest thanks are to you, our library patrons. We thank you for your patience and for your
efforts in letting elected officials know the library matters
to you.
Budgets are always uncertain,
but the Library staff will do all we can to maintain our library
hours in the future. Thanks
