The popular It’s A Mystery Book Discussion Series
will be offered again this summer at Appleton Public Library.
The series led by Camille Banks, Community Services Program Assistant,
will meet for three sessions in the lower level meeting room.

June 16th
The No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency
by Alexander McCall Smith
Immediately after Precious Ramotswe sets up shop in a small storefront,
she is hired to track down a missing husband, uncover a con man,
and follow a wayward daughter.
July 21st
Hunting Badger by Tony Hillerman
Tribal Police Sergeant Jim Chee and retired Lieutenant
Joe Leaphorn team up to investigate a raid on the Ute tribe’s
gambling casino by three armed men.
August 18th
The Salaryman’s Wife by Sujata Massey
The wife of a high-powered businessman is dead and Rei Shimura
searches for clues by crashing a funeral and posing as a bargirl
while the police are busy pursuing her.
Admission is free and the series is open to the
general public. Books are available through the Community Services
