Drop in to Storytime

Drop in to Storytime on Thursday mornings! Beginning November 11th, and every Thursday morning until May, the Appleton Public Library invites babies 0-24 months along with a parent or caregiver, to participate in storytime programs created and presented just for them. No registration is necessary, just show up and have fun with library staff. These programs include short books, nursery rhymes, and music chosen to enrich baby’s language skills. All babies will react differently to storytime, but whether they participate fully or just quietly (or loudly!) observe their new setting, they are all welcome. All grown-ups are expected to participate. Babies 0-12 months meet at 9:15, while babies 12-24 months meet at 10:15. Storytimes last about 15-20 minutes, followed by playtime. Siblings and extended family members are welcome to attend and participate.
