Children’s programming for the fall
Registration begins September 6 for children’s programming

Storyvine for Daycares for children in daycares and their caregivers
September 7-December 28
Wednesdays 10:00 a.m.
Staff will share literature with groups through story, song, and motion during this half hour program. No registration.

Read & Create a Craft for ages 3 and up and their families
September 12- October 18
Mondays 1:30 p.m.
Tuesdays 6:30 p.m
A special program where books and crafts are shared. Registration required.

Registered Storytimes for birth through 36 months
September 12-October 17
0-12 months Mondays 9:15 a.m.
12-24 months Mondays 10:00 a.m.
24-36 months Mondays 10:45 a.m.
An introduction of books, rhymes, and songs. Enrich your child’s language skills. Siblings are always welcome. Storytime attendance is required to attend playtime. Registration required.

Preschool Storytime for ages 3-5 and their caregivers
September 13- May 23
Tuesdays 10:15 a.m.
Drop in for a half hour of stories, music movement, fingerplays, rhymes and videos. Have fun while you enrich your child’s language and listening skills. Siblings are always welcome. No registration.

Drop-In Storytimes for birth through 36 months
September 15-May 25
12-24 months Thursdays 9:15 a.m.
24-36 months Thursdays 10:00 a.m.
0-12 months Thursdays 10:45 a.m.

Learn About Letters for ages 4 and up
September 16-October 21
Fridays 10:15 a.m.
A 45-minute educational program for children who can attend programming without their caregiver. Children learn about upper and lower case letters and their sounds as well as matching letters and words. Registration required.

Musical Movin’ Storytime for preschoolers and caregivers
September 16-October 21
Fridays 10:15 a.m.
A variety of books, music, and movement activities. Ideal for parent and siblings of kids in the “Learn About Letters” program. Have fun while developing your child’s language, listening and motor skills. Approximately 30 minutes. Registration required.

Cool After School Thursdays for school age kids; others welcome with caregivers October 6-March 30
Thursdays 3:45 p.m.
Connect literature through family movies, author parties, after school crafts, and storytimes at these 45-minute programs. No registration.

Friday Frolics for families
October 7-November 11
Fridays 3:45 p.m.
Help us share literature through puppets, videos, and music. No registration.

B.E.A.R (Be Excited About Reading)
November 1-30
Make reading together for pleasure a habit by joining the Children’s Services fall reading program. Contact the Children’s Services staff for more information in October at
