Seventh Annual
Ring in the Season Book Campaign
Individuals, families, businesses and organizations are invited
to donate new books to the Bring a Book/Ring a Bell campaign.
The books are distributed as holiday gifts through the Salvation
Army and other area groups in the Fox Valley. Everyone is encouraged
to contribute books. Bring donations (new, unwrapped, hardcover
or paperback books for children up to age 12) to the Children’s
Services of the Appleton Public Library by Friday December 9,
2005. Donate a copy of a childhood favorite – or one that
is popular with children today. Organizations may wish to donate
books related to their interest area. If you would like the library
staff to choose books to donate, make checks payable to Appleton
Public Library Foundation-Give a Child. If you know a service
group or organization that would be interested in contributing
to this campaign, please call Ralph Dorn at 738-6727 or Jan Erdman
at 733-7104. The Honorary chairperson for the campaign is Jill
Beck, President of Lawrence University.
