Fine Print -Spring 2005  Volume XVI Number 1

The Library
by Catie Edmondson, age 8

I like the library because it is peaceful. Anyone can go there. Poor people, middle class, and higher class. If you have a library card, you can take books home to read. The library has fun activities all through the year for kids, and classes are available for adults. The library is surrounded by downtown Appleton, but unlike the surroundings, the library is a soothing place. I like to go there because I like to read. The people who work there are friendly and helpful. You can pick different varieties of books, videos, CDs, cassettes, and even CD-ROMs! The library is located in downtown Appleton by the restaurant Mongos. My favorite place in the city is the library.
