MP3 Audio Books

Audio books are now available on MP3-CD.  A Grant from the library foundation has allowed the library to start the collection making it possible for patrons to listen to a number of full-length, unabridged audio book on just one MP-3CD.  The disks are the same size as a standard CD, but the text is compressed making it possible to play an entire unabridged title on fewer disks with an MP3-CD player.  This new format is being shelved with the library's books on CD collection.  Listeners can choose titles from a number of favorite authors such as Stephen King, Robert Ludlum and Margaret George.
