Thursdays are Cool After School

Thursdays at 3:45p.m. January through April a variety of drop in programs for school-aged students and their caregivers will be offered in the children's section of the Appleton Public Library. Programs are approximately 45 minutes long and snack is provided.

The first Thursday of the month there is a storytime for students Kindergarten through Third grade. They will share stories, listen to jokes, and watch a video.    The second week we offer our "Book Theme Party".  January's party celebrated the book character Junie B. Jones by Barbara Park.  Stories, games and activities make up this fun gathering.  During the third week of the month we offer a craft program.  Students listen to a story and create a craft.  During the fourth week of the month, we have a surprise video. Students can guess the name of the featured family movie using the clues provided.

We hope to see you Thursdays after school!  For more information call Children's Services 832-6187 or check us out on the web at http://kids.apl.org/programs/school.html
