Teens
guide the galaxy!
…at least during National Library Week! (April
2-8th) This year teens will explore both the galaxy and their
creativity
in a week of excitement at the Appleton Public Library.
On Tuesday, April 4th teens can enjoy an evening of fun out
of this world with a book-movie discussion on Hitchhiker’s
Guide to the Galaxy. Starting at 6:30 pm we will watch the movie
and then have a short discussion comparing it with the book.
Haven’t read the book yet? Don’t Panic! There are
plenty of copies available at your library ?! Snacks will be
provided and admission is free!
Then on Thursday, April 6th teens can flex their creative muscles
with Poetry Flower Pot Decorating. Located in the TeenLinks (Young
Adult) Area of the Library, teens can decorate flower pots with
their favorite poems, original poetry, quotes, and other fun
designs. Selected poetry pots will also be displayed in the Library
during National Poetry Month (April). The craft starts at 6:00
pm and is free to all teens!
