Each of us has a story to share. Our first day on the job, a wedding fiasco, or a family picnic along the Fox River. The Appleton Public Library will present a series of story-sharing programs called Who We Are on June 10, 17, and 24 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm.
Participants in the June 10 program, called Stories About the People in Our Lives, will join moderator, Elizabeth Eisen, Community Services Librarian, Appleton Public Library, in telling stories about their heroes, best friends or favorite teachers, the people who have most influenced their lives.
Kay Saunders, poet and creative writing teacher, will lead participants in the June 17 session on Life Experience Stories in talking about the turning points in their lives, high or low points that formed who they are today.
What place does the Fox River have in your life? Participants in the June 24 program, A Sense of Place Along the Fox River, will share local stories with Giles Clark, author and storyteller.
Who We Are will take place in the lower level meeting room of the Appleton Public Library. It is open to anyone with a story to share. Please call the Community Services Office of the library at 832-1695 to pre-register for any of the programs.
