Friends of Poetry
Fine Print winter 1999
As a follow-up to a successful "Poets in Person" summer program, the Friends of Appleton Library Program Committee has begun a Poetry Circle at the Library. Called "Friends of Poetry", the Circle meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month except December from 6:30-8:30pm in the library's meeting room.

Using the Bill Moyers video series The Language of Life: A Festival of Poets as a guide, the Circle discusses poets and shares favorite poems. The programs are free and open to the general public. To pre-register, call the library's Community Services office at 832-1695.
