The Friends of Appleton Library (FOAL) support the Library in developing its facilities and services for the community, encouraging gifts and bequests to the Library, and stimulating greater public support and use of the Appleton Public Library.

The Friends hold two used book sales annually in May and November. They also serve as volunteers in the summer library program and create library displays at community events. Through the Appleton Library Foundation, the Friends maintain an Endowment Fund. Interest from the fund is donated to the library for children's and adult programming.

Annual dues to join the Friends -- Individual membership: $10; Family: $25; and Supporting: $35. You can also establish a Life membership for $100. Checks should be payable to the Friends of Appleton Library and mailed to Appleton Public Library, 225 N. Oneida St. Appleton, WI 54911. The annual membership renewal date is April 1.
