Part time non-benefited work, about 8-10 hours per week. Shelving sorted carts of Library materials. Requires sorting skills, ability to push loaded book truck and reach high & low shelves.
Page-Clerks
Full and half time benefited positions. Sorting, checking in, and filing Library materials. Requires sorting skills, ability to push loaded book truck and reach high & low shelves.
Operations Clerks
Full time benefited positions & part time non-benefited work (about 8-10 hours per week) includes maintaining, repairing, cleaning Library building, setting up meeting rooms, etc.
Clerical Positions
Full and half time benefited, as well as part time non-benefited openings. Requires a HS diploma. Some direct public service at the circulation desk (Library Clerk), some “behind the scenes”. Checking out materials, maintaining Library databases, general clerical support, etc.
Library Assistants
Full and half time benefited, as well as part time non-benefited openings. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in any field. Direct public assistance at the Reference, Children’s or Information desks, as well as behind the scenes para-professional work in those and other Library sections.
Assistant Supervisors
Full time benefited positions requiring experience in Library circulation, supervisory skills, and a Bachelor’s Degree.
Network Technical Assistant
Full time benefited. Assists the Network Services Supervisor with installation and maintenance of computer hardware, software, and network infrastructure.
Librarians
Full and half time benefited. Requires a Masters Degree in Library Science. Perform professional duties in various Library sections: Community Partnerships, Children's Services, Public Services, and Administration.
Supervisory and Managerial positions
