1:1 Computer & Device Help

Request a free, 45-minute one-on-one computer help session from one of our librarians. We offer help using Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, email, internet (including getting started with Gale Courses), intro to your iPad, smart phone, or tablet -- even using the Scanner-Readers to view microfilm. We may not be able to accommodate all requests for this service depending on subject matter. We cannot help troubleshoot problems you are experiencing with your computer or fix hardware issues, provide help with QuickBooks, teach typing, or instruct you on marketing for your business, your hobby, or other reasons.

  1. Be very specific when describing what you need help with if you want staff to be able to prepare handouts for you.
  2. You will be contacted by one of our librarians, typically within 7 days, to set up an appointment.
  3. Your 45-minute session will be in Study Room A, located on the library's upper level.
