Building Process Update: August 2017

The Appleton Public Library Board of Trustees met Tuesday, August 15. As noted on the agenda, Director Rortvedt provided an update on the library building process.

Director Rortvedt explained that she brought the approved memo, with regard to recommendations for moving forward with a mixed-use RFP for the library (see 7/18/17 library minutes, Action Item 5D), to the City of Appleton Finance Committee for discussion and questions.

In the coming weeks, Director Rortvedt and city staff will continue to work on defining how an RFP for a mixed-use library could look.
