  1. Ready to Read: Play and Learn - Hispanic Edition

    Help your child develop pre-reading skills, social skills and confidence through interactive, play-centered learning. Each week we will explore a different theme through sensory activities, dramatic play, crafts, books, games and fun! Siblings welcome.

    Explore the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics through hands on activities and experiments. Each program will excite the imagination and curiosity of future scientists, artists and mathematicians. While geared toward preschoolers, siblings are always welcome to attend.

  3. Every Child Ready to Read

    "Talk, Sing, Read, Write, Play -- Everyday!" This handout provides early literacy guidelines for you to use with your children. Every Child Ready to Read is not a program at the library, but a resource describing the importance of talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing with your child at different developmental levels.

  4. Musical Movin' Storytime

    When: 
    Tuesdays | 10:00-10:45 am and 1:30-2:15 pm | January 20 - March 24 & April 7 - 28
    Where:

    Registration is required.
    Registration Details: 

    Registration begins January 5 at 9:00 am.

    Children practice language, literacy and listening skills through stories, music, movement and creative activities.   Children must be at least 3 years old to attend; siblings welcome.

  5. Sensory Storytime

    When: 
    Fall Dates to be announced.
    Where: 
    Children's Program Room A/B

    Developmentally designed for 4-8 year olds, Sensory Storytime is an interactive program that engages children through movement, music, stories and sensory play. It can be enjoyed by all children, but is ideal for those who have a hard time in large groups, are on the autism spectrum or have sensory integration challenges. Registration is requested, but not required.
