"Talk, Sing, Read, Write, Play -- Everyday!" This handout provides early literacy guidelines for you to use with your children. Every Child Ready to Read is not a program at the library, but a resource describing the importance of talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing with your child at different developmental levels.

An early literacy experience for new walkers to children age 23 months. The 30 minute program will provide your active toddler with lapsit time as well as more opportunities to work on cognitive development and motor skills. Join us after for 15 mintues of play time. Siblings welcome.

Join Ellen, Children's Services Librarian, for a fast-paced storytime for families with children of all ages and childcare providers. Come for books, music, fingerplays, and a short animated story or e-book. While geared towards childcare providers, families are always welcome to attend.

An early literacy experience for one and two-year-old children accompanied by a parent or caregiver. The program is designed to prepare children for preschool experiences. We will read stories, sing songs, do finger plays and have musical movement. Join us after for 15 minutes of social play time. Siblings welcome.
