"Talk, Sing, Read, Write, Play -- Everyday!" This handout provides early literacy guidelines for you to use with your children. Every Child Ready to Read is not a program at the library, but a resource describing the importance of talking, singing, reading, writing, and playing with your child at different developmental levels.
Pick up your sheets at the Children's Service Desk or print them from our webpage. Redeem each sheet of 100 books at the Children's Service Desk for a small prize. When you redeem the last sheet, for books 900-1,000, you'll receive another prize and a certificate for finishing. We will check registration before handing out the last prize and certificate.
