| The meeting rooms in the lower level of the Appleton Public
Library are available for use by community groups for presentation
of informational, educational, or recreational meetings and programs
in keeping with the mission of the Appleton Public Library.
The Library provides meeting rooms for public meetings on a first
come, first served basis. Because this is a very popular service,
the rooms may be unavailable at the time you desire. Please try
to plan ahead, giving us at least a week before the time you wish
to use the room. We will accept bookings up to three months in advance.
Here are the steps you should follow to Book a room:
- Read the Meeting Room
Policy and Rules and Regulations
for Meeting Room Use to determine if your proposed use is
eligible.
- Call Library Administration, 832-6170 to determine if the time
and date you need are available.
- AFTER you have received a confirmation of the time and date
from Library Administration, you must complete, sign, and return
a Meeting Room Booking Form. Your booking is not complete until
the signed form is on file in the library's administrative office.
- You can get a copy of the meeting Room Booking Form in several
ways.
- Come to the administration office in the lower level of the
library during business hours, 9 AM to 5 PM weekdays. You can
complete the entire booking process in one step this way.
- If you have Internet access you may download
a PDF version of the form.*
Be sure to confirm your date and time first, then
complete and mail, fax or bring the form to Library Administration,
225 N. Oneida St. Appleton WI 54911 (FAX 920-832-6182).
* The freely available Adobe
Acrobat Reader is required to view and print PDF files.
- You may request that the library send or fax you a copy of
the form when you call for confirmation. When you receive the
form, complete it and return it to the library to confirm your
booking.
