Did Chief Seattle really make the "Fifth Gospel" speech?
Answer:
No. The speech that is attributed to Chief Seatle was actually written by Ted Perry for a 1972 ecology film called "Home." A copy of the speech can be found in the children's picture book Brother Eagle, Sister Sky.
