Question:
Has a tornado ever hit Appleton?

Answer:
At least one tornado is known to have struck Appleton. In the mid-1980s, a tornado touched down at the Zion and Moses Montefiore Cemetery, across from Appleton Papers. The worst recent tornado incident in the area occurred on April 27, 1984 when a tornado in the Town of Greenville killed one person.
